Use the spreadsheet below to calculate your total loan balances and the associated weighted average interest rates for use in our student loan calculator. 

Input each loan balance and its associated interest rate into the chart. You weighted average will be displayed on the right size of the chart.

Note: If you are using the calculator in order to use our PAYE vs REPAYE spreadsheet, remember to only include your PSLF-eligible federal loans. However, the calculator will give you a true weighted-average interest rate for any/all debt, if you wish (e.g. student loans + credit card + auto, etc). Also, remember that if you are consolidating your loans, your rate will be round up to the nearest 1/8% (0.125%)
